Who is responsible for your data

CHASIN' BASE is operated by Ripaldi Media LLC, which acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. Contact: support@chasinbase.com.

What we collect

  • Account info: email address and chosen username.
  • Saved game data: rosters, modes, simulated records, share links, leaderboard submissions.
  • Support messages: messages you send through our contact form or by email.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, basic interaction analytics.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, timestamps, and audit events (logins, admin actions, failed access).

Payment details (card numbers, billing address) are collected and processed directly by our Merchant of Record, Paddle — we never see or store your full card details.

Why we collect it & legal basis

  • To create and manage your account and provide the service (performance of our contract with you).
  • To save and display your gameplay and leaderboard entries (performance of our contract).
  • To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and keep the site secure (legitimate interests).
  • To analyze usage and improve the product (legitimate interests).
  • To respond to your support requests (performance of our contract / legitimate interests).
  • To meet legal and tax obligations where required (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. Your username and submitted leaderboard runs are publicly visible by design. We share data only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the site (hosting, database, analytics, and support tooling), bound by their own data-protection obligations.
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, subscription management, payment processing, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
  • Authorities, where required by law.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised. Deleting your account removes your saved data, subject to records we must keep by law.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences and saved games. We do not use third-party marketing cookies. You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings; essential cookies are required for sign-in to work.

International transfers

Our service providers and Paddle may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, transfers are protected by safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can delete your account and all saved data at any time from the Account page. For other requests, email support@chasinbase.com or use our Contact Us page — we respond within one month. If you are in the UK/EEA, you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
